To continue to improve, build size and symmetry, and
always strive to be my personal best - regardless of placement.
Valarie’s Tips:
Lift heavy and work hard. I lifted for too many years
in the upper rep range with moderate weights. I have made the most
significant gains in recent months by focusing on core movements and
striving to lift heavy in the 6-8 rep range. Challenge yourself -
you may be surprised at what you can lift! Focus on what is good for
your body. You need to learn what works best for 'you' in diet,
training and recovery. What you read and watch/see others doing is
not necessarily what will work for your own body. Experiment and
learn what works best for you! Allow ample time for rest and
recovery. I made this error before and didn't allow ample time for
my body to rest and grow. This is just as important as training. |
