Fitness & Physique Magazine (F&P) FAQ's
How many
times is F&P printed each year?
F&P is printed every four months (three times a year).
What are
the release dates for each issue?
The Spring issue is released the first week of February, Summer issue the first week of June, and Winter issue the first week of October.
How can I
subscribe to F&P?
Subscriptions can be purchased online. Note one-year Subscriptions automatically come with purchased OCB, NANBF or IFPA membership).
When will I
receive the first issue of my subscription?
Subscriptions
received by F&P January through the end of April
begin with the Summer edition; May through the end of August
with Winter edition; and September through the end of
December with the Spring edition.
What stores
can I find F&P at?
Barnes & Noble, Books-A-Million and Hastings are the major retail outlets that carry F&P.
How can I
get copies of a certain issue?
The current issue and back issues can be purchased online.
What should
I do if I have a subscription and my address changes?
Any address
changes can be sent to
fp@FitnessandPhysique.com.
(F&P is not responsible for issues not received as a result
of moving and not informing F&P of a change of address prior
to mailings. Replacement issues will not be sent to new
addresses free of charge).
How do I
renew my subscription?
Subscriptions can be renewed online. Renewing would be the same as purchasing a subscription. Subscriptions are automatically extended beyond any current subscriptions that may exist when they are processed. For example, if a subscription is submitted in June but a former subscription ran through the Winter edition, the new order would be Spring, Summer and Winter for the following year, not be set to begin with the Winter issue that was already scheduled to be sent through a previous subscription.
Do you
accept article submissions?
Yes. We welcome article and photo submissions from anyone. Please review our submission guidelines for more details.
What types
of articles/submissions are desired?
Articles pertaining to strength training, nutrition, dieting and contest prep are the main types sought after.
How can I
get my photo in the magazine?
OCB, NANBF and IFPA past or present competitors are welcome to submit images for consideration in print. The most desirable kind at this time are training photos that can be used with articles that run. Photos do not need to be from a professional photographer but do need to be of good quality and of a higher resolution (typically files over 300kb in size can be used, but the larger the file the better).
How can I
be considered for a cover?
OCB, NANBF and IFPA competitors are welcome to submit photos to be considered for cover shots. Photos do not need to be from a professional photographer but do need to be of high quality and of a resolution sufficient enough to be printed at a minimum of 300dpi at an 8.5” x 11” size.
