ABOUT

The United States Natural Bodybuilding Hall of Fame recognizes and honors those who, by virtue of their contributions, are of such significant stature that they are considered to be among the most highly regarded individuals in relation to American physique competition. The Hall of Fame is a vehicle to inform the general public about the achievements of individuals and to provide recognition to those individuals. It is also an important means of preserving the most notable aspects of the heritage of drug-free physique competition in the United States.

Bob Gormley served as National Chairman of the American Natural Bodybuilding Conference (ANBC) from 1990 thru 2004. Gormley was a competitor himself and was with the ANBC near its inception in 1984. Natural bodybuilding’s growth was sparked in the early 1980’s, so Gormley was in the thick of things essentially from the start of the natural movement. His experiences in the sport are unparalleled. Few match his knowledge about the sport and its evolution.
